REGISTRATION INFORMATION

You must register for this race online (link available here soon).

Pre Registration:
The pre-registration deadline is Friday May 25, 2012 at midnight. 
KOM program participants (with race licenses, not general memberships) are automatically pre-registered but must bring a signed waiver to the race day registration/check in table. Waiver available here soon.

Race Day Registration:
If you miss the pre-registration deadline you must register onsite.
On site registration opens at 8:30 AM and ends 1 hour before your event start.

Check In:
All registered riders must "Check-in" at the registration table.
Check in opens at 8:30 and closes 1/2 hour before your event start.

Cost:

  • 17 and older Pre-Registered - $25 
  • 17 and older Race Day - $40
  • KOM registered riders – $0
  • U7, U9, U11 not in KOM program – $10
  • U13, U15, U17 not in KOM program – $15
  • Citizen - $0

Race Day Schedule:

  • 8:30 -- Kids Pre-Ride (U7, U9, U11, U13 only). All other riders risk disqualification for riding during this time.
  • 10:00 -- Event 1 -- U7 & U9
  • 11:00 -- Event 2 -- U11 & U13
  • 12:30 to 13:15 -- Pre Ride, U15 through Elite
  • 13:30 -- Event 3 -- Elite, Expert, Comp, Sport, U17, U15 & Citizen

MB Cup #1 (Race #1)

Event: MB Cup #1 (includes KOM races)
Date: April 29, 2012
Location: Grand Beach XC Ski Trails. Turn right off of Highway 12 and proceed to the Park gate. After you go through the gate go 700 meters and turn right at the sign for the XC ski trails, follow the gravel road, staying to the left to get to the trail head and registration area.

Cost:

  • KOM – no fees
  • Non-KOM U7, U9, U11 – $10
  • Non-KOM U13, U15, U17 – $15

Race Start Times:
 

  • Kids Pre-ride: 8:30 (U7, U9, U11, U13 kids only. Other event riders risk disqualification for riding during this time)
  • Event 1: U7/U9 (male and female) – 10:00
  • Event 2: U11, U13 (male and female) – 11:00
  • U15 through Elite Pre-ride: 12:30 – 1:15
  • Event 3: Elite, Expert, Comp, Sport, KOM U17, KOM U15, U17, U15 (male and female) – 1:30

Pre-registration:

All KOM Participants are pre-registered. NON-KOM must register for the race.

For KOM participants, please bring a signed form and waiver. Waivers can be found on the organizing clubs' website (links below)


Race Day Registration & Sign-In:
Race day registration (no pre-registered) for the Kids events opens at 8:30 and ends 1 hour before your event start.
Sign-in (for pre-registered participants) opens at 8:30 and closes 1/2 hour before your event start.

2012 KOM Registration is Open

The 2012 MCA/KOM Registration is now open! Please read this information carefully and follow all instructions as the registration has changed in 2012:

KIDS OF MUD REGISTRATION TIPS

Google Chrome seems to be the best browser application for this online form. If you have Google Chrome, please use it.

To register online:

1) Go to the MCA website at www.mbcycling.ca

2) Go to “License Registration” under “Registration and Sign-up” at the right hand column of the home page.

 

New User Information:

This is the information required to create your family profile. Parent details should be added here. You will be able to create multiple files under your children’s after you create the Master Profile.

 

KOM License Options:

  • You will not be seeing an option upfront for the full cost of the license (i.e. $125.00 or $105.00 for License fee plus KOM program fee).
  • You will be offered to select either a KOM race license for $65.00 or a KOM non-racing license for $45.00.
  • You will then be asked to select your KOM club affiliation.
  • Next, you will be given the option to select and pay for your KOM program fee ($60.00) online or pay your KOM club directly for the fee.

2012 Program Registration Information

Registration for the 2012 Kids of Mud program will be open shortly. Here is information from the Manitoba Cycling Association regarding the 2012 memberships.

In 2012, all cycling associations (MB included) affiliated with Canadian Cycling Association will be moving from the ‘paper’ license, to a hard card plastic license. If you are a Race License holder you will be required to attach a downloaded photo during your online registration.  Your new plastic UCI license card will have the photo of the holder printed on the card. For photo details and dimensions, please click (HERE).  Photos will not be required this year for holders of a “General Membership/Non-Racing License”.
For the Kids of Mud Program, you will be able to select either a RACE program fee or NON-RACE program fee.

  • Race + Training Program fee: $65 race license + $60 program fee = $125
  • Training Program fee only: $45 general membership + $60 program fee = $105

In order to support the implementation of the plastic card licenses this year, and be positioned for future membership growth, we are pleased to announce a new online registration partnership with the Cycling Component Network.

Over the past several weeks the MCA has been working with the CCN programmers to create a user friendly registration process which will allow our members to download their photos at time of registration.

MCA programming is near complete and we are moving towards the testing phase later this week. We anticipate going live with online registration at the end of February.

A document of frequency asked questions about registration and licenses, as well as step by step instruction on how to download your photo and purchase your License online with CCN will be posted on the MCA website prior to our launch date.
